'Tourney' is a program that uses the ChessCOM component (and my very rough and ready chess board ActiveX control) to run automated mini-tournaments with Winboard compatible chess engines. Since Tourney runs on a single machine, it makes little sense to have 'pondering' (thinking on the opponents time) enabled, so Tourney switches this option off. If anyone wants to run tourney's on distributed systems via DCOM, let me know, and I'll make it switchable. The program has been tested successfully with Ufim, Crafty, Polar, Green Light, Yace and GnuChess5, and unsuccessfully with several others. You can download the Tourney program below if you want to run your own tournaments. The results below are for a one minute per game, all play all, tournament. Each machine has one game with black and one game with white against each of the other engines. No command line parameters were used (the feature is implemented, but untested).
